Girl Scouts from the Division of Pasay with their Troop Leaders celebrated “World Thinking Day” held in Apelo Cruz Elementary School, February 22, 2018.
It is celebrated every month of February to commemorate the birthday of Lord Robert Baden Powell and his wife Lady Olave Baden Powell ,the founders of the Scouting Movement around the world.
This year’s theme: “Leadership: 110 years of Adventure” took the girls and its audience on a journey through time by combining experiences of the past with the chances and choices of the present and the future.
Through “World Thinking Day”, GSP movement aims to celebrate the different ways in which Girls scouts and Girl Guides become leaders and develop the power to bring change that they want to see in this world .
Dr. Tirso Gali, ACES School Principal, welcomed the participants and guests; Mrs. Marina Magbago, Pasay City Council President, inspired the scouts with her message emphasizing the essence of true leadership. By: HGDimafelix
